As I own a company selling Gothic goodies and Halloween products I have been extremely busy, as you may have noticed through lack of blog posts. The run up to Halloween is extremely busy for us, with new products arriving every day.
During busy, stressful times my skin is normally the first to suffer with the quality of my sleep falling and my Caffeine intake on the rise, so I have been relying on some must have skincare products to keep me looking human.
I usually get up and get straight to work so I keep a box of skincare in my desk drawer to keep me feeling fresh and moisturised throughout the day so this is my current Office drawer must haves…
Cotton Wool Pads – Tesco
I have tried plenty of Cotton wool pads but I always seem to come back to these ones. They are supersoft and don’t irritate my eye area like some do.
Soap & Glory Drama Clean Micellar water
I took a small bottle and filled it up with this wonder product. It leaves my skin feeling super clean without being drying and removes oil build up on my skin. It’s perfect for cleansing on the run! I usually pick the big bottles up when Boots have them on offer.
Monuspa Rosewood Reviving Mist
I personally use this as a toner. I love the earthy smell of the product. I simply spray it on my face and wipe off with a cotton pad.
Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum base
I have been using this lightweight serum underneath my moisturiser to tighten my pores and to add anti-oxidants to my skin.
H2O+ Hydrating Treatment
This is the moisturiser I have been using at the moment. I like that it is a gel moisturiser as it is lightweight, cooling but also mattifying which is a huge bonus for me as I tend to have a really oily T-Zone and this really does help.
Kleenex Shine absorbing sheets
I don’t use these everyday, just on days when my skin is super greasy, they’re great for looking shine free throughout the day and are a really good emergency solution for greasy skin.
Bubblegum Lip Scrub by Lush
I really like the effects of this scrub. I like how smooth it leaves my lips but I’m not much of a fan of the aftertaste it leaves in my mouth though but it’s not bad enough to deter me from using it.
Recently I have been struggling with cracked lips especially in the outer corner of my mouth so I have been using two lip treatments. The first one I use in the morning, which is Lip Revive by Elemis, which I feel really helped to heal my lips. The second lip treatment was the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant stick to add moisture & SPF.
So those are the skincare essentials that get me through my working day.
