Ouija – Film Review.

Hi Ladies,

I know it’s been some time since i blogged but Halloween is the busiest period for me ever, both with work & personally.

I have been waiting for this film to come out for some time now and it was finally released on Halloween!! As Halloween is a really busy period for us I was only able to see it on Sunday 2nd Nov.

I had quite high hopes for this film as I recently went to see Annabelle and it was just awful, so I really wanted this to be a good horror movie.

The Plot surrounds a pair of girls who as children, play with a Ouija board.

In their late teens one of the girls decides to play alone, and ends up dead.

Her friends then decide to use the Ouija board to connect to their dead friend only to unleash something much more sinister.

I really liked the characters in this film, they were likeable and it was well acted.

The plot was well fleshed out without being monotonous.

There were a good few jumpy bits which I though were great.

I was a little disappointed with the ending but I can see that they were leaving it open, maybe for a possible sequel. I would definitely watch this film again as it was enjoyable, scary and well written.

I give this film 8/10.

Let me know if you have seen this film and if it was something you enjoyed!

  1. Saw ‘Ouija’ last weekend with my daughter. We both enjoyed it and I found it genuinely creepy.

It was more spine shivering, rather than in your face horror.

    I’d go with 7.5/10.
