Every Penny Counts……Literally!

Hi Ladies,

I usually hate having loads of change in my purse so I normally empty out anything under 50p into a a big tin. Now the tin has been pretty much full for a few weeks now.  So today I thought Fuck it! I’m gonna tip it all into one of those coin machines and treat myself with the cash. So here is what i bought…..

As many of you may know, if I’m gonna splurge, then it’s gonna be on Skin care! I have been using the Deep Cleansing Oil by DHC for a while now but I wanted to try something else that would give me a deep clean. The last cleansing balm I had was the Elemis Pro-Collagen cleansing balm, but that is so expensive and i can’t justify spending £39.50 on a cleanser when i’m trying to get my new business off the ground and I have heard only great things about this Clinique balm.

For those of you who don’t use cleansing balms, they are solid balms that when heated in the hand become a fluid oil. They literally melt off your make up and leave your skin feeling moisturised and deeply cleansed.

The good thing about this Balm is that it is suitable for all skin types, and a little goes a long way. It is quite a large pot and will last quite a long time. This balm is available from all Clinique Counters priced £22.00 for a 125ml pot.

I am not normally a fan of Natural/Naked shades. I am a huge lover of colour. The Brighter the better usually. Buuuuuuuut I may entertain neutral shades if they’re a matte finish. I’m just not a huge fan of shimmer.

I didn’t want to buy a full Naked palette for the simple fact that I knew it would just sit on my shelf gathering dust and I’d end up giving it away, so there was no point. All i wanted was a few neutral shades that i could play with and not break the bank.

Thats why I liked the Naked Basics palette. with four neutral shades and two darker shades it is just perfect for me to mess around with and the main selling point for me was all 6 shades are matte – yay!

This is the lightest shade Venus over the whole lid with the second Darkets shade Faint on the outer edge.

This palette retails at £22.00.

So that is what I treated myself  to, so it really does make sense to throw all that shrapnel into a jar and let it pile up!

Then you get to buy goodies with it:D
