When I watched the Glossybox Video on YouTube revealing that the May Glossybox would be a collaboration with Superdrug I was so excited.
I spend a large portion of my wages in Superdrug so I was really looking forward to the goodies I’d be receiving.
I like to flick through the magazine before I look at the product and I loved this months Magazine. The front featured TOWIES’s Lucy Mecklenburgh looking stunning in a 60’s style make-up look. The contents of the magazine were all about products found in Superdrug, my favourite piece showing stand out beauty products from the last 50 years including Elnett Hairspray and Bourjois Little round pot Eye shadows.
Now on to the Products…
The first product:
Vaseline Spray & Go moisturiser in Cocoa Radiant – Cost: £4.99 for 190ml
I was so happy that I got this product because I already own a can of this and I love it!! This month Glossybox guaranteed 4 full sized products and this was one of them. I bought the Cocoa and the Aloe Vera cans in the past but the Cocoa is my favourite. It just smells delicious. When it comes to body moisturiser I can be really lazy so this is perfect you just spray it on and job done. No laborious rubbing in of lotion and getting it all over your hands or in your nails. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!
Scholl Velvet Smooth Overnight Mask – Cost £7.99 for 60ml
This was another full sized product in the box. This is an overnight mask for the feet that will definitely be used with my cotton moisture socks. I have so many bath & body products but none for my feet. They are extremely neglected so this is a perfect way to show them a little TLC
Collection Bronze Glow Mosaic – Cost £2.99 per 15g. Yet again another full sized product. As I have mentioned in previous posts I don’t do fake tan or bronzer but this looks like a lighter option and has a lovely shimmer to it so I will probably use this for contouring.
The Fourth Product:
B Sheer Conditioning Lipstick – Cost £6.99 Each
This is Superdrug’s own brand and I have looked at this range but have never bought anything, so I am happy to have received this item. Once again a full sized product. The first thing I noticed about this range is that it is Vegetarian & Vegan friendly meaning non of it’s products have been tested on animals which is always a great selling point for me.
I received the shade Coral that is a beautiful shimmering colour. The Product itself does go on quite sheer which is great for a subtle daytime look. I will definitely give this range a second look.
The Fifth Item:
L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Black – Cost £10.99 Each
Once again a full sized product. I have never used this mascara and I have no idea why. With it’s sleek shape and striking black & gold colour it’s a great way to spruce up you’re make up bag. I like the wand as it separates lashes beautifully . I think I may have found a new firm favourite.
Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion – Sample
This is a one-use sample and is a nourishing lotion for dry skin. It is infused with 4 oils. Argan, Macadamia, Almond & Rose.
I will definitely be trying this on my legs as I get extremely dry skin there.
Ghost Fragrance Eclipse – Sample
This was a small spray bottle containing maybe a couple of day’s worth of fragrance. I am a big fan of the original ghost perfume so I really wanted to give this a try. It is a beautiful fragrance that I feel is a great everyday perfume.
With Notes of Bergamot, Lotus Blossom & Amber Crystals it is both fruity & floral. I really like this fragrance.
So that was my Glossy Box this month.. I would personally say that this is the best Glossybox I have EVER had.
Glossybox this month you got it so so right!!
I love every product in the box and full sized products too!!
