I just wanted to do a small blog about an event that I went to last night.
The Event was a Beauty Gala at the Debenhams store in Preston city Centre.
It was held in aid of the Help for Heroes charity. Tickets were only £3.00 and on receipt of the ticket you got a goody bag full of samples for new Beauty products.
Staff from local Bar ’Forum’ were on hand to serve both Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic drinks, their Passion Fruit Mojitos were a resounding success.
It was a great opportunity to get some in-depth beauty advice, learn more about new products and old favourites, as well as a chance to watch and take part in live demonstrations.
Elemis were offering free complex skin assessments, these were specialist photographs taken focusing on six specific skin features, these were:
- Texture (Areas of Deep Hydration & Dehydration)
- Brown spots (Areas of sun damage)
- Red Areas (Areas of Irritation)
My Results are below…
These assessments are available free of charge at your local Debenhams Elemis counter.
The Guerline counter was offering delicious French pastries, while Lancôme were offering samples of their Advanced Genefique Serum.
I also treated myself to some Urban Decay goodies 🙂
It was a great evening and all the sales assistants were extremely friendly and I would just like to say a big thank you to all of them for being incredibly patient and answering all my questions about their various products.
And on a final note, for any of you Ladies that are lucky enough to live near a Debenhams Benefit Brow Bar, this Month is Brow Arch March. You can get your eyebrows waxed and shaped for a minimum donation of £5.00. All proceeds go to the ’Look Good, Feel Better’ charity, a charity supporting women with Cancer.
